Sexual Harassment
In compliance with state law, the Peninsula School District prohibits sexual harassment of or by employees, students, parents, volunteers, and others involved in school district activities. Any student or staff engaged in sexual harassment or intimidation is subject to disciplinary action. Volunteers engaged in sexual harassment or intimidation may have their access to school properties and activities restricted. Allegations of criminal misconduct will be reported to law enforcement or child protective services.
By law, Peninsula School District schools are required to inform students and their parents about the district’s sexual harassment policy and procedures. Our teachers will be presenting age-appropriate materials about the definition of harassment and consequences for students who violate the policy and law.
