Attendance

Good attendance and learning go together. Missing a day of school could mean that your child misses the presentation of important concepts and skills. Please let us know if your child will be absent or tardy. If your child will be absent or tardy, please notify the attendance line, 530-1206, before 9:30 a.m. on that day. Please encourage your child to attend school regularly and on time. Tardy students disrupt the classroom when they arrive and also miss important information. Please note: While good attendance is very important, please do not send your child to school if he or she is not feeling well or is running a temperature. If family trips or other incidents require an absence, prior arrangements should be made with the principal or teacher.
